What is spiritual direction?

Spiritual direction is often misunderstood—the word “direction” can feel misleading. In reality, my role is not to direct you, but to help you feel clearly guided by God. Life can be noisy and distracting, making it hard to discern what God is saying. Sometimes it’s also difficult to share your struggles with those you know.
Spiritual direction offers a calm, confidential space where you can share what troubles you. We pray and listen together for the Holy Spirit’s promptings. Through this process, you may receive clarity, insight, or restoration of peace.
You may have already engaged in therapy or feel you don’t need it—but you may still be struggling with persistent concerns or patterns that feel stuck. Spiritual direction can help you step out of the cycle and experience guidance, reassurance, and spiritual growth.
